Imagine if THIS was IT?

It doesn’t seem possible. That the world we live in now is the culmination of all the wars, history, explorations, discoveries and great minds of our past.

How utterly embarrassing.

We should be ashamed of ourselves.

Why is it that we so easily hold on to our differences and make sure they keep us at arm’s length? It seems impossible in this day and age to accomplish anything while we argue, malign and accuse others.

Anger has replaced respect.

Pride has killed common sense.

We value our opinions over the lives of others.

There is an old saying- “If you have nothing nice to say, don’t say anything at all.” But, the noise is deafening and vile.

I long for peace and kindness as they are quickly becoming extinct. People search for it and exclaim when it is discovered: “I knew there was still good in the world.”

We need to practice being the good in the world so it’s not a rarity, but the status quo.

We argue over leaving the best world for our future generations, but if we don’t think that includes kindness, peace, respect and love- what fools we’ve become…
